Meet our producers

Greg & Tammie Alexander

Greg grew up in a home that was centered around the Church and gospel music. His grandfather taught at the Stamps Baxter School of Music in the 1940's and his parents were singing in gospel quartets since before he was born. As a young child Greg accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a church camp in WV.

Greg worked in the CBS building in Nashville as an engineer and producer at Polyfox Studios and ELP Productions. He then left Polyfox to sing with The Accords and the Monitors . Greg went back to college and received his Music Industry and Music Education degrees. There he met his wife and partner Tammie. God has truly blessed their ministry together.

Greg has produced over 40 chart records in Southern Gospel and Christian Country music including eight number 1 records with Mercy Street Records. He has had five top 80 records on the Singing News charts. Greg's production work has garnered 2 Dove nominations and 1 Grammy nomination. Greg and his wife, Tammie, have both worked on Nashville Christmas projects which have produced 4 gold and 4 platinum records. The artists include greats such as Porter Wagner, Mickey Gilley, Merle Haggard, Marilyn McCoo, Roy Clark, just to name a few. Greg and Tammie have also worked with groups such as the Stamps Quartet, Crystal Gale, JD Sumner, The Impressions, and many more.
